Como funciona o teste de educação cívica de 2025

  • É um teste oral. Um oficial do USCIS faz até 20 perguntas desta lista de 128, normalmente durante a sua entrevista de naturalização.
  • Para passar, você precisa acertar 12 perguntas. O oficial para de perguntar quando você chega a 12 respostas corretas ou a 9 incorretas.
  • Vale para pedidos do Formulário N-400 enviados a partir de 20 de outubro de 2025. Se você enviou o pedido antes dessa data, fará o teste de 2008 (100 perguntas; o oficial faz até 10 e você precisa acertar 6): veja a lista de 2008 (em inglês).
  • Consideração especial 65/20: se você tem 65 anos ou mais e é residente permanente legal há 20 anos ou mais quando envia o pedido, pode estudar apenas as 20 perguntas marcadas com asterisco (*). O oficial faz 10 delas e você precisa acertar 6. Você pode fazer o teste de educação cívica no idioma de sua escolha.
